when a friend disvalues your friendship, it hurts I have to sit back and be grateful and looking inside with what did it teach me, value of self..
Some people just don’t appreciate anyone else. Find new friends. You will be happier, I think.
I got so tired of being unhappy and sad, that I simple made a conscious decision not to let it ruin my day. 1) I acknowledged and felt the sadness/hurt. 2) got tired of it. 3) decided to feel better. 4) turned the corners of my mouth up into some semblance of a smile 5) started engaging other people and looking them in the eye and showed interest in them 6) told whoever was in front of me that I was “so glad to see you. You make my day better simply by being here. Thank you for cheering me up by wearing a bright color/my favorite color. How nice you look today!” Pick different things to cheer someone else up. 7) Jump up off the ground/floor. It gets you going! You feel better generally, more energetic. Lots of studies show people feel better when they get moving.
What’s really good about it is that even if it’s just a put on to start off, if you keep it up, you’ll find that you will really be happy.
Best wishes for a positive day !
After looking over the supplement portion on this site I am confused about what to order. I could probably use : Brain and Body Powder, Probrain Biotics, Gaba Calming or Seratonin Mood, SaMe Mood, Craving Control and Neuro Link. Well…..obviously, that’s not going to happen and it’s surely not possible, or even, I assume, recommended.
In brief, I was on generic Celexa (Citalofram-HBR 20mg). My mood was better but I took myself off of it because it made me tired, brain foggy. I have been hounded by my loved ones to get back on it but Id like to try Dr. Amen’s supplements first. Can a Coach get back to me to help me choose correctly?
Can you tell us what Brain Type you are?
I am type 10 on webneuro but I have a sneaking suspicion I am also ADD..perhaps, type 3 or type 7 or even Limbic. I watched Amen University 3 part video which gave me a real clue as to why my behaviors mirror this affliction. Obviously, I can’t just decide for myself so I’m perplexed.
I think I responded to you privately yesterday, bonitabree but my first question would be to try to understand what your most significant primary symptoms are to know what to address first.
Once we can identify which symptoms are causing you the most distress, we know where to begin. If the foundation of your brain functioning is addressed, it will have a “trickle down” effect on the other areas as well.
zoe I sent to coaches a concern you responded where the email went, I suppose too busy or lost interest?
