I notice that the “Hot Topics” list contains some old posts that have not been updated in weeks, while many of the most recent posts never make the list. Would anyone besides me like to see “Hot Topics” become a list of most recent posts (instead of a list of old topics which had a lot of comments)?

The “Hot Topics” should be called something more like “Trending”. That captures the way we try to use the forum as a place to follow each other and know about whatever is “trending” in our lives from day to day.
