60-80 ng/ML is considered optimal, so yes, he’s a little high but it’s usually not at risk of being harmful until you get over 100 ng/ML. Since he’s at 92 ng/ML, the general recommendation would be to cut back to a maintenance dose at this point as he no longer needs the higher amount based on his labs. This can be done by either taking his current supplement every few days instead of daily (some people find this hard to remember), or reducing the daily amount to 2K IU instead of 5K. Additionally, when he switches to a lower dose supplement it can be helpful to take in combination with vitamin K2 for best absorption/utilization. He can then retest after a few months to see if he’s moved into the optimal range and make adjustments from there based on those results. Best!
