Better Together

some anxiety

In getting my blood tested and expecting to be very healthy and having the test done twice to make sure, I found out I had low platelets and that could be a symptom of Hepatitis C.
Just yesterday my boyfriend, who I have been living with for over a year and 1/2, told me he had had Hepatitis C. He does not believe in the medical system so I have no way of knowing if he still has it.He never had it treated. I felt very betrayed that he had never disclosed this. He claims it is impossible that I could have contracted it from him. Also he claims to have no physical problems but had been sick a lot.
It will take me a while to find out the facts from my doctor.
Of course I am getting out of this relationship and moving on but it is not easy to do. I question why I would get involved with a guy who drank and did drugs for years and went to prison. He does not drink now. I seem to see only the potential in men and also take risks. I am a brain type 1
I am happy for this website and the audios and the forums.

I’m sorry to hear of your situation, positiveme. It’s very painful to find out someone close to you has been dishonest, especially in this way as it potentially impacts your health. Please do seek medical care as this inflammatory virus can harm many body systems long term, even if you have no symptoms. Also, I encourage you to support your immune system with the Brain Fit Life recommendations of a whole foods diet, high quality supplementation, good sleep, and stress management. Happy you are in our community. Best to you.

Thank you Zoe. I will take care of myself and already eat the diet recommended. I thought I was very healthy so it is a shock and that someone I love would conceal it, very painful. I will do some hypnosis audios. thanks
