What brain type are you? Complex carbs are high fiber vegetables, fruits, and some gluten-free whole grains/pseudo-grains and are commonly prescribed in combination with protein (fish, chicken, eggs, nuts, seeds, etc.).

Great! Your brain type 8 does well with a balance of protein and high- fiber carbohydrates so the goal is to make sure every meal has both. Some examples are salmon with asparagus, salad and quinoa or eggs with spinach, onion and mushroom. Snacks should be paired as well such as apple with almond butter or blueberries with yogurt. Avoid or minimize white flours, sugar and other high-glycemic carbohydrates.

Best!
