Could you please tell me why beans are limited on the Omni diet.

Beans, such as lentils can be a healthy part of a balanced diet, but too many can lead to weight gain or difficulty losing for those trying to do so. Vary your protein choices for best nutritional benefit, and continue to keep vegetables as the mainstay of your meals. Doing so has the effect of naturally portioning your proteins to a more ideal amount. – Coach Zoe

Thanks for your reply.  I was thinking that I had read in the BFL that there was something in them that was not good for brain health.  I spent hours trying to refind it and was worried about it.  Norma

Yes, organic soybeans are okay in moderation as long as you don’t have a sensitivity to soy, or haven’t been directed by your physician to avoid it. 🙂
