What website would you recommend to get information on CBT for insomnia?

Stanford has some good information on CBT for insomnia here. Mindfulness and relaxation activities, central tenets of CBT, can be found here on Brain Fit Life under “Feel Better Fast” and then select “Audios”. Other activities such as journaling and “Kill the ANTs” exercises (also under “Feel Better Fast”) can help indirectly by giving a space earlier in the day to worries or excessive thoughts that may come up when you are trying to sleep. Additionally, avoiding stimulants such as caffeine and sugars, attending to blood sugar regulation (which can wake us up at night if out of balance), and eating a nutrient-rich whole foods diet are also incredibly important for insomnia. Hope that helps! -Zoe
