Dr. Amen: I have implemented many of the instructions for Brain Type 3 and I am happy to say that I have seen some improvement. I have always worked out so I continue with that, I have added food as listed as “good for your brain”- I have included games and added supplements. I use the Huperzine A and I think it helps as I have given that to my Mom for 9 years for short term memory loss and it has kept her about the same. My question is do you prefer a certain brand? I do buy a supplement that I had researched and I know it works but I am wondering what you use? I have a lot of stress as caregiver so I am by no means as good as I know I can be but I am trying hard. I don’t sleep well and the melatonin is not a good match for me as taking one pill helps me just a little but taking any more than that leaves me very fuzzy during the day which is not a feeling I can live with. Any suggestions for sleep thank you and Tana for all the great information.
