Getting out of the house

I often times, feel as if I cannot leave the house.  It requires great effort on my part, to get dressed, exercise and do all of the errands I have on a given day.  Today, however, I got my running clothes on and I jogged to the beach while listening to my favorite dance music on my phone.  I ran 5 miles without even realizing it.  Now of course, I will give my body a rest tomorrow, but I plan–intend–will go out on Thursday and run to a different destination in the city.  I live in San Francisco and we are not lacking opportunities to get a good work out.  The hills here are other worldly—but somehow I just keep on truckin’—I need to be gentle with myself and disciplined at the same time.  We’ll see how that works?!
