I avoided fats, healthy fats from my diet like avocado, walnuts, cold pressed virgin olive oil. I have cut the carbs, sugars and dairy from my life except those found naturally in low glycemic fruits and veggies and added minimal healthy fats and higher protein foods (salmon) to my diet plan. I really am not experiencing the weight loss I anticipated, however I have lost 3 inched from my waist…I am also exercising 3 – 4 times weekly….Could this lack of weight loss be related to my having a gastric bypass RNY in 2006? I have been on this food plan 2 weeks and feel great!
