I was at the Amen Clinic in August.  Do the Psychiatrists have the ability to see if I am working on my brain health or is it just something that is given to us to work on on our own accord?  How do we really know we are getting any better as there is not quantitative or qualitative analysis on any of the games to see improvement.

Hi! Thanks for your post!

You can certainly have your psychiatrist re-evaluate your brain health, usually recommended about 6 months after your initial scans. For now, you are probably working on improving brain health from many different approaches (brain games, nutrition, movement/exercise, social connections, psychological support, sleep, supplements, etc.). I would encourage you to evaluate areas for yourself if you are interested in more incremental progress analysis, such as noting how you are doing on the brain games, how much easier they may become over time, and how you see changes in areas of your life in which you are hoping for improvement (for some, a simple 1-10 scale can help with this). Additionally, noting where you are each day, in areas that matter, such as done on the daily journaling page, can help with seeing small or large changes over time. However, if you feel like you need more specific brain health support, consider working with one of our brain health coaches, who can help to track and support your progress as well as set short and long-term goals you are seeking.

Best!
