After reading your book on Brain health, i went to the health food store & bought a bottle of Rhodiola & a bottle of Green Tea capsules. After just 2 weeks, my energy & focus are enormously better. My husband told me yesterday what a huge change he sees in me!  I have now ordered a bottle of your Focus & Energy supplement to replace my store bought options. My question is this:  The Rhodiola i have specifies i take it on an empty stomach, and the Green Tea says to take after meals.  How should i take your Focus & Energy supplement for best results?

So great to hear this! You can take Focus and Energy with meals, but make sure not to take it too late in the day as it is energizing!

Do the green tea capsules have caffeine?  Is that why they are “energizing”?  I am curious because while I am doing well, focus and energy are some of the things I want to improve.   Right now, I rely on caffeine quite a bit.   But I am trying to follow Dr, Amen’s advice and cut back on that.

The green tea in our Focus and Energy is decaffeinated, but is still energizing because of its antioxidant elements, and the L-theanine it contains provides the benefit of increased focus and attention. 🙂

HI Folks! There anyone there that has a copy a the mfg.report that says the exact amount of L theanine in the Focus and Energy product? the product only says 600mg green tea.. for 4 caps .. Some of us supplement with the amino acid already to help with sleep.  I would love not to OD on it..  Can’t find the data on the site here.. Thank You!

Thanks for the question! I have forwarded this to our chief supplement scientist and will get back to you with this information as soon as I have it. Best!

HI Zoe! Thanks for your reply on the weekend!.. This is important to me as I use the product and discovered I had to stop the 100mg of labeled L theanine I have been taking to help with sleep for the last 5 months. My brain along with the worry ANTS would wake up +-3 hours sooner than the typical 8 hours of sleep. When I get up at that time I was not refreshed and felt groggy/brain fog soon after getting out of bed.. When I stopped my sleep normalized and felt more refreshed!! Not a smart move on my part for not making the connection!!  I am not looking for +- .0001 % per mg or mcg accuracy but what is the mg total per 4 pills recommended?

Hi there!

Although l-theanine is one of the components of green tea, our chief scientist informed me there is only negligible amounts in the green tea extract in our Focus & Energy supplement due to its highly concentrated form. So you would not be getting too much by taking an additional l-theanine supplement. However, since you saw benefit in stopping the supplement, you may decide not to return to use after all. Hope that helps! -Coach Zoe
