Feeling of being off balance

During the day I often have the feeling of being off balance, brain fog and lightheadedness. It comes and goes. Most of the time when I’m laying down I feel better. When I am out in public and it happens I try to be extra careful until I can find a sit. In addition I lack energy. It is difficult to explain. Has anyone had this same symptoms and if so, can you offer any suggestions on how to deal with this?

There are many possible reasons for these symptoms such as dehydration, low blood sugar, food/environmental allergy, stress, lack of sleep, medication changes, etc. I encourage you to speak with an integrative physician to get this addressed. In the meantime, how are you taking care of yourself overall with nutrition, sleep, stress management, exercise, etc.? – Coach Zoe

I’m sorry it took me a while to respond, I’m working on me. My sleeping is not that good, insomnia I think. no medication, eat mostly plant-based 3 days ago I shifted to a keto diet, I use calm beat everyday, I take max power everyday, tested my ketone level this morning with strips and I have med (40) results,I think I live  pretty healthy clean life, stress level can be a lot better. I exercise 5-7 days a week, I walk on treadmill 2+ miles, since going on keto I added weight upper and lower body alternating days. I try to stay focused and informed about living a healthy lifestyle, you could say I am well informed on this topic. I read and study a lot my interest is being a health coach but I believe in living by example.

Sounds like you are doing a lot to support your health. Attending to your sleep and stress is certainly going to be powerful in addition to what you are doing otherwise. How have you felt on the ketogenic diet and why did you decide to implement that protocol? Typically, when you are transitioning into ketosis, energy wanes significantly for a period of time, often called the “keto flu”. Be sure to drink plenty of water and do not avoid salt. Is your stress what is affecting your ability to fall asleep?
