Thanks. Interesting, that. Actually the line about subvocalizing is right on. Those exercises have the right idea; however, my tendency to subvocalize is so strong that I would name the objects and turn it into an auditory memorization task. What’s really needed is a similar exercise (or game) where you have to recreate shapes that are not named or recognizable (as in shadows on a sheet of crumpled paper), or the negative space between two objects. Where you have to visually remember the angles of multiple planes. (Might have just answered my own question).
I just thought Amen might have such a game. Have not yet checked out the brain games. I’ve been doing this as drawing exercises.
It’s really a visual therapy question.
