I’m getting confused about all your supplements.  Currently I’m taking the brain and body supplement package.  Is the brain and memory boost supplement already included in that?  I see the brain and memory boost has a sale discount offer – but wondering if I’d be better served going to the Brain and Body Max – or whether even that includes – I guess I’m asking what the overlap is on all these supplements – especially as overlap the combination packages.  Thanks

Hi Dhambley:  Thanks for being part of our community.  Brain and Body Power and Brain and Body Power Max both have NeuroVite Plus, Omega 3 Power, and Brain and Memory Power Boost.  Max has a higher dose for Omega 3 Power and Brain and Memory Power Boost.  I like the systems because they make it easy for you to get everything you need at a reasonable cost.

I agree entirely and feel even better about the deal I’m getting.  Especially initially – I just need simple solutions to get me back on track.  Money is a big issue for me – and so a balanced “broad spectrum” approach at the discount “combo” pricing is fantastic.  I have to buy month to month – and decide whether to do the max or regular dosage level each month depending on cash flow.  Hopefully as my brain heals, I’ll make better decisions and all will go smoother!  Thanks so much Dr. Amen!

Although I am also taking the SamE supplement in addition to the combo’s.  Going to take some time and try to re-evaluate my web-neuro and survey results – not sure if I suffer from the brain problems where SamE is recommended.  I started down this path with a diagnosis of major depression and so started with the combo package and SamE.  I also purchased one bottle of the proBRAINbiotics to try and get my gut to a supportive place as well – but can’t afford to keep taking that.  So I’m a loyal customer although frequently still feel confused or “lost” with the bigger picture of things.
My strategy lately has been just to admit when I’m feeling a bit lost and the requests for clarification are received very well.  I think the new approach is actually healthier – more brain flexible! Hope I am a good example to others as well.  My old rigid and stubborn self is taking a back seat lately!

What is your Brain Type?  I like SAMe for issues related to mood, energy, and pain. For being rigid and stubborn I like Serotonin Mood Support.  So happy you are here with us.

I see at the dashboard that I have brain type 8 but I think is time to review and redo the tests.  I started out extremely low energy but am really seeing myself with rigidity/stubbornness more recently.  I’m exercising and leading a Daniel Plan group so doing pretty good on a well rounded program.  I have the Change Your Mind Change Your Life book – was going to print out my assessments and take them to the perscription chapters to try to figure out where I’m at.

OK – I’ll make it a goal for tonight – redo those exams and I have the book exactly where I know I can find it.  Brain fog is probably my central issue – muddling through life!

Let me know your Brain Type when you retake it. Best way to fight brain fog is the supplements, dietary suggestions, and exercise, even if it is just walking. If it is still there, then looking at your thyroid is critical.

I am now a Type 1 Brain – struggling at level 51.  I’ve not had uninterrupted time to do the web neuro yet.  I actually see this change as progress – I am improving although still struggling.  My mood and energy have improved.  You sure called my game on the Brain Fog.  I’ve been making progress on both diet and the exercise (walking at average 5000 steps per day but not aggressively working to improve that).  Daniel Plan group gathers tonight and I have in mind to get more motion and to ELIMINATE some of the foods I’ve been cutting back on.  I’m going to re-read the 10 day detox plan and see if there is some semblance of that I can take.

I gather from the results though that some of what I’m thinking was brain fog is actual memory parts of my brain struggling.  Haven’t had a chance to re-read the chapters for suggestions and really appreciate your concern/interest Dr. Amen.  I will welcome and embrace your suggestions to the point I can afford to.

I have a lot on my TO DO list now – read up on Type 1 brain, review 10 day detox and Daniel Plan dietary guidelines, take webneuro tests, and increase my walking steps per day aggressively.  Getting rid of what I call “brain fog” is a huge motivator for me.  Thanks so much for your insight!
