HI..Not sure if you missed my question in the Brain Blips request..it was on Dec.30 and I didn’t get an answer. Thanks!
Sorry I didn’t see it.. Can you please repeat? Happy to help how I can! -Coach Zoe
Question #1-I have noticed that on occasion I omit letters in a word or write a number that is incorrect in a long series of numbers.I do see it when I re-read and correct it, but wonder what brain exercises would be helpful or anything else that you can recommend.I know a complete evaluation is the best way to go,but until then, what can you recommend? Question #2 Also,I have the VERY BEGINNING of cataracts and was told leutin, zeaxanthin and meso-zeaxanthin are eye vitamins that will slow/stop the progression of cataracts. What are the recommended dosages?
Thanks!!
1) I would follow the recommendations on your brain type report for best games to play to improve focus and attention. Additionally, Dr. Amen’s brain healthy protocol of good nutrition (including needed supplements), adequate hydration, stress relieving activities, regular exercise, and quality sleep are the foundational pieces from which optimal brain functioning stems. Keeping up with these will take you far in improving your brain health.
2) Leutin and zeaxanthin have been found to support eye health, and can be found in foods such as dark leafy greens, broccoli, eggs, Brussels sprouts, and zucchini. If you want to supplement with these in addition to eating these foods, I would encourage you to speak with an integrative physician to determine the best doses for you, based on your health history and other medications/supplements you are taking.
Thanks! 🙂
