Blood Tests in Prep. for SPECT Scans

HI Folks!
I I was wondering why having a Lyme’s Disease blood test (at a min. if you are in a state where it is prevalent) Iis not listed as a suggested test needed in prep. for the SPECT scans? Sorry if I miss it but so  far I have not seen it on the documents supplied….  This would be a valuable heads up if someone had symptoms with memory loss ++etc.,  got bit on the back by a tic a few months ago and missed the typical markers.. easy to miss for elderly, children and some disabled.. Thanks For Your Response!

We recommended testing for Lyme disease on a case by case basis, as we do for other specific tests as well. It will be based on the scans, as well as medical history, and current symptoms.-Zoe

I took the spect scan ten years ago in Tacoma and I don’t recall any blood tests being done. Is this something that was started within ten years?

How do I get tested in St. Louis MO for toxic mold or other toxins. I have lost 25 pounds in the 12 weeks since I moved into this old damp house and will be dead by December at this rate. I have extreme fatigue, respitory, intestinal and central nervous system problems I never had before moving in. I have had to clean mold from the basement and used precautions, but am deathly ill and medical tests say I’m fine. My basement flooded with 18″ of water and I have gotten flu like symptoms after having to clean it myself. I am like the canary in a coal mine and avoid toxins and chemicals like the plague as I become violently ill when exposed. My pets are sick too. PLEASE HELP

I am very sorry to hear about your home environment.
Here is some information on mold from your state website: http://health.mo.gov/living/environment/indoorair/mold.php

I would highly recommend getting a professional clean up crew to handle the mold situation in your home if at all possible to limit any more exposure and health consequences.
