I took the blood tests non-fasting.Do you have a blood sugar score for non-fasting? Does this also affect the other scores? If so,which ones?

Since foods impact our blood sugar levels to varying degrees, it is important to know your blood glucose levels in a fasting state when there is not the influence of food.

what about the other scores? are they valid with your recording page?

on June 9, 2016

Please answer if the other blood scores are not valid since I did them not fasting.
Also, can I call and have the scores interpreted with the suggestions on how to improve the scores? If not,how can I know how to improve?

Generally lipid and glucose tests require fasting for the most useful results. And you are welcome to call us for an appointment with a physician, or see your own, for recommendations on how to improve your numbers. Generally speaking, following the dietary and supplements suggested here often lead to improvements. You would probably want to wait a few months to retest to see those changes show up.

Good morning! I just received my “Know My Numbers” lab report from LabCorp and noticed that the Hemoglobin A1c (HgA1c) is in % units. The LabCorp reference interval is 4.8 – 5.6. The Brain Fit Life Optimal numbers are 84-126 mg/dL. How do I convert the LabCorp % to mg/dL to populate my Know My Numbers HgA1c entry in My Brain Fit Life “Know My Numbers” section of my account?

Is the LabCorp Triiodothyronine, Free, Serum, the same thing as Free T3?  The LabCorp units are pg/mL. The My Brain Fit Life  “Know My Numbers” section displays Thyroid Free T3 as pg/dL.

The LabCorp report does not have a Thyroid Antibodies test result listed in my lab results. Is there a different name for that test?

Thanks in advance, Andy

HbA1C is 0 – 6% (best under 5.6%, which is what I see under Know My Numbers.

Yes, Free T3 is as mentioned above and Lab Corps does have Thyroid peroxidase antibodies is done by Labcorps too.

Thanks for being part of our community.

It is the B vitamins that cause it. It is normal and ok.
