Any Methyl Pro users in here?

I took a genetic test and learned that I have a problem processing Folic acid. Depression meds and therapy have ne’er helped with issues surrounding success and longevity with work. ADD plays a role here for sure.  Choosing jobs that don’t make my heart sing has been an ongoing issue for my entire work career.
Learned about Deplin, L-methyl folate but insurance doesn’t pay, so found MethylPro and stare taking with an SSRI. May take a few weeks to see results.  Anyone gone down this path?  Thank you.

I am learning about this for myself from  Dr. Ben Lynch’s videos and articles.  He says to be careful about taking methyl-folate every day.  It’s great when you need it, but the need fluctuates.  If you don’t have a healthcare professional who is knowledgeable about methylation problems, Dr. Lynch has a listing of some of them.  Some may do telephone consultations. — I have an integrative physician to help me figure it out.  It is complex and takes time!

I have been taking 15 mg of methylpro for several weeks and have had no noticible differences.  I also started an SSRI around the same time.  Thanks for reaching out, Sally.

I agree with Sally that you want to make sure you are working with an integrative physician who knows about treating with nutrient therapy in conjunction with or in lieu of medications. Our staff integrative physician is wonderful, and can do phone or video appointments. Give us a call if you would like to make an appointment.
