I just started using your program…joined a few days ago and love it! After watching the DVDs, and learning the importance of gut health, I am wondering if I should take more probiotics? I had Lyme disease and was on a cocktail of antibiotics for seven years. The cocktails would usually consist of three different antibiotics taken simultaneously twice a day on Mondays and Wednesdays. On Thursdays, I had to take Flagyl. On Fridays, I took the original cocktail plus the flagyl twice a day. The weekends I had off. I could do this for three weeks, then get a week off. Usually, when I would go back to my Lyme doc, he would adjust the cocktail and we would start all over again. I took probiotics during this time as well, but I am very concerned that my gut is really messed up. Memory is really, really bad…in fact, I just watched your DVDs a few days ago and can’t remember how the gut is connected to the brain. In ffact, this is the second time I have written with this question. I wrote the original post right away, knowing I would forget why I was so concerned. But I ended up writing it in the “Support” section instead of the “Better Together” section on the website. A kind man helped me when I was trying to find the answer to my post! As you can see, my brain needs work! LOL! Thank you for your help!
