Just wondering what you think of these amounts..it is a liquid. Is a liquid better absorbed?

Are additional Omega 3″s necessary? I am not sure if DHS and EPA have omegas in them but

trying to learn! There is a lot! Thanks!

These are great questions, and yes, there is so much to learn! I am pretty sure that part is endless! 🙂

DHA and EPA are types of omega-3 fatty acids found primarily in marine animals (ALA is a third type found in plant foods like walnuts, flax, chia, etc.). DHA and EPA are important for reducing inflammation, and improving for brain health. Whether you take them via liquid, capsule, or chewables, that is more of a preference, not necessarily related to absorption rates.

How much you need depends on your current state of health, wellness goals, current medications, and health history, but most people need at least 1500 mg/day for therapeutic benefit, some taking much higher amounts. In our Omega-3 Power supplement, there is 1600 mg total of the omega-3s so it sounds like you are getting a very low dose in your supplement and may wanted to consider a more robust version.
