Blood work (Time sensitive…Sorry!)

I’m having fasting blood work done tomorrow, and I’m wondering if there’s anything I should ask for them to look at. I have a type 13 brain, although “spontaneous” does not fit for me as I have a hard time shifting my focus. ADD inattentive type. I’m going to have a complete metabolic panel, and a complete blood count, and I’ve asked them to look at vitamin B12 level. Is there anything else I should ask for regarding brain health?

Thank you in advance!

Laurie

I should have mentioned I’m a 62 year-old female, normal weight, physically active part time work, no cholesterol issues.

Sorry about the perhaps too late reply, but I would also ask for vitamin D testing, and any other micro-nutrient testing available on this panel (vitamins, minerals, etc.). And omega levels are essential to know for brain health, but those can be done through OmegaQuant on your own at home for about $50. Hope that helps!

Thank you Zoe! I’m hoping that at least the vitamin/mineral numbers will be included in the metabolic panel, but we’ll see. And I think that since I live in New England, it’s a safe be that I should be taking vitamin D.

Thanks again for your help!
