Hyperactivity and Impulse control

Can you please give me some suggestions regarding hyperactivity and impulse control. My son is 14 years old with autism. I changed the diet to gluten free but did not see any difference in his behavior for 6 months. His diet is natural, organic, cut sugar, juice and added fruit, vegetables. He’s taking neurolink, kids neurovite, attention support, fish oil, probiotics. I noticed a lot of improvement in his communication and thinking skills but not in the impulse control and hyperactivity. He used to take Guanfacine but we stopped because did not see any improvement in his behavior. What else Can I do to help him? I appreciate any suggestion about new medicine, therapies, supplements. Thanks a lot.

Sounds like you are doing a lot for your son’s health and have seen some marked improvements, which is wonderful. Exercise is an important element for hyperactivity, and an additional supplement to consider would be Attention Support as it is helpful for both impulsiveness and hyperactivity. Best to you! – Coach Zoe
