What is your opinion on palm oil?

Most palm oil found in many processed foods has a very poor fatty acid profile, and has been found to have many possible negative effects on our health. However, fresh, unprocessed and non-hydrogenated palm oil has been shown to have some positive health benefits, and can be heated to high temperatures safely. Our favorite oils for cooking with the most health promoting nutrients are coconut, avocado, and macadamia nut oil, so opt for these first when possible. -Coach Zoe

OK, because I found some protein bars made from Quest Nutrition, very good nutrition but has Palm Oil and that’s why I was wondering
