HI
I just posted my numbers in know your numbers and my Ferritin is high , the range is 0 – 200 and mine is at 135, that does not seem high to me. Does anyone understand ferritin range ?
Ferritin is the measure of iron levels in your blood. Talk to your doctor about what your level means in relation to other measurements, and to your health overall. A single lab result tells us just a small piece of the puzzle, but your 135 does fall within the overall normal range for men. -Coach Zoe
Hi Coach_Zoe
All my blood work numbers are in the normal range for Kaiser , but when plugged into the know your numbers site things are high or low depending on the test . I am new to Brain Fit Life, so I have been doing the two things everyday , so today I’m asking the coach. What is the best way interact and get the most out of Brain Fit Life ?
Follow your Dashboard to guide you through exercises that will keep you motivated, on track, and feeling grateful for your strengths and learning. Watch the video on how to use BFL for additional guidance, but you might also explore a new tab each week and see what the best combination of regular activities here would be for you. Depending on what you do outside of our community, some may be more important for you to add to your repertoire than others. I love the One Page Miracle exercise and journaling as good starting points. For inspiration, you might add a new recipe each week to your routine, or read an article for more information on keeping your brain and body healthy. Best to you!
Hello, not sure how this works but first try. I just got my numbers back and DHEA- Sulfate was 480. I am 65 and from what I read.. this could be a good thing battling Cortisol or a very bad thing? Confusing? Any idea?
Hi imagineer
I am also new to brain fit life and had my blood work done which according to my doctor its all good , but when I plug in the numbers to brain fit life, know your numbers
things are high or low depending on the test.
I believe Brain fit life is coming at this in a integrative medicine approach, body, mind, soul. How your blood chemistry is tied in to whats happening in your life would require someone with good knowledge and holistic approach , DR Amen for sure or some one with the same back ground. Maybe we’ll get good intel from someone in the know.
Keep hope alive,
Mike
See below. You have DHEA levels of someone in their 40s. I am ok with that. The reason our hormones drop with age is that it is the planets way of getting rid of us.
Typical normal ranges for males are:
