Hello,
Is there a limit or range of caution regarding the amount/daily dose of consuming flax seed, hemp, & Chia seed? Also, can these seeds be taken on a daily basis? If you could, would you please give me a specific amount (oz…tsp or tbsp) for each day? Thank you.

Donna

I enjoy Dr. Fuhrman’s chia pudding for breakfast a couple of times a week. it has 1/4 cup chia seeds soaked overnight. I don’t think we can digest them without prep because they are so hard. thought I would answer because no one else is answering. This is not a very active forum.

As far as I am aware, you can enjoy these as you like.

Packages I have purchased recommend:

Flaxseed, Flax usa: 2 Tbsp. (14g)     [Works well for me.]

Chia, kunachia: 1 ounce daily.

Hemp, Manitoba Hemp Harvest: 4 Tablespoons (30 grams) Hemp fiber  or  3 Tablespoons of Hemp Hearts daily.      [Any hemp is too much for me.]

It’s hard for most of us to “overdo” fiber, as we tend to be low in general, but you do want to make sure that you are drinking adequate water in order to use the fiber to push waste through the system most beneficially. 🙂
