My bmi is 23.5 , and my waist to hip ratio is 52. I think  I go by my waist to hip ratio which makes me overweight. Am I right? I gained 13 lbs this last year but have recently lost 3 lbs on the Amen plan. I was overweight throughout my teens, and 40 lbs heavier than I am now in my 20s. It’s a blessing to be able to eat normal. Although I lost a lot of weight I was never able to eat much just my oatmeal yogurt and a little bit more.  I remember at 13 crying to my dad I want to stay thin but I can’t eat , what’s wrong. I would starve myself on less than 500 calories to maintain my weight , then I started working at a fast food place and just gave in ate a lot of junk and excercised like crazy. I got fat thin  and up and down in weight until my late 20s . I think medication helped. I just want to Thank Tana for getting me off soy , dairy and most grains. I can finally eat a lot and not struggle. Thank you again Melinda

So happy to hear you aren’t struggling with weight anymore! A BMI of 23.5 is normal weight, but more importantly I hope you are feeling strong and healthy. Thanks for sharing your success in changing your nutrition for life!

Thank you so so much Zoe.!! I’m feeling pretty strong and healthy just a little anxiety. I’m starting to do the meditation section again. I need this as they relax me. I also want to listen to Mozart and Straus as was suggested. I think I’ll go to my mom today and we’ll listen to it together. This wiil give me time. Thanks again Melinda
