I have struggled with Anxiety and Depression and Addiction issues for many years and I am so tired of the drugs and getting different answers from different people it makes me so upset. I am currently on Welburtrin SR and my OBGYN’s counselor told me that if I have Anxiety too that the Welbutrin probably helped the depression while spinning my Anxiety out of control. I am so ready to try to find ways to manage my problems with your help and healthier ways then drugs. i am now just worried what years of antidepressants and mood stabilizers and alcohol and drug abuse has done to  my brain and why now that I have a toddler and I am getting older (36) that I have ADD symptoms now and didnt know I had it before and now the symptoms are crazy bad some days and other days they aren’t too bad.   So Frustrated…

This whole program is for you. Focus on doing one positive thing a day and soon you should begin to feel better.

My heart bleeds for your dilemma. I had issues with depression, anxiety, bi-polar disorder, and addiction as well. I can relate to you even though I’m only 25 years old, my father unfortunately passed away twelve years ago along with multiple family and friendship tragedies. What has worked for me is Omega 3 at doses of 6-8 grams daily which is proven to increase norepinephrine levels. Combined with cardio exercise at 160-170 heartbeats per minute for 15-30 minutes (if you can) has done wonders for me. Whenever I have severe depression and manic episodes I take a couple fish oil capsules(2 x 1200 mg) twice a day and go for a run on the elliptical for 15 minutes. Afterwards I feel much better for a few hours. Question-Are you getting enough sleep and water? Exercise and Omega 3 will fix the problems now, however appropriate sleep and water will effect how you feel tomorrow and next week. Again, these are based in my experiences.

Great thanks to both of you no I am lucky if I get 5 hours of sleep a night and water I try to get at least 64oz a day. Exercise I am terrible at I get maybe 9000 steps a day and that’s a regular day. I do take fish oil and the fish oil in the brain body power.
