I had chemo following cancer diagnosis and surgery 4 years ago. I want to optimize my brain to help with focus, memory and anxiety. My symptoms parallel with “aging, menopause and chemo brain”, so want to know what specifically would build where loses are occurring.

Some of the key components to recovery and optimal health are a whole foods diet with plenty of clean water, high quality supplements, good sleep, adequate exercise, and stress management, including joy, creativity, and connection to others.

Everyone can benefit from a good quality multivitamin, probiotic, and Omega-3 supplement, but for cellular repair and recovery after surgery and chemotherapy, these are essential.  Depending on your specific brain type, other supplements may be helpful as well. For anxiety, you want to make sure to limit caffeine, get adequate sleep and stress relief, eat regularly for blood sugar control, and stay away from sugar and processed foods. Anxiety-relieving supplements may include GABA or Every Day Stress Relief. Look at your personalized report on your main page on this site to see what other recommendations may be more specific for your brain.

Hope this helps! Let us know how it’s going for you!
